Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrueMerit (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using TrueMerit on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

TrueMerit provides AI-powered product management tools including blueprint creation, roadmap tracking, growth automation, video generation, newsletter automation, and related features. The Platform is provided on an "as-is" basis and may evolve over time.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at security@truemerit.online.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract AI models or proprietary algorithms.
• Share your credentials with third parties or resell access to the Platform.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or contains malware.
• Use automated scripts to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without permission.
• Impersonate any person, organization, or TrueMerit employee.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of TrueMerit — including the AI models, UI design, and generated frameworks — are owned by TrueMerit Technologies. Content you create or upload remains your intellectual property. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to process your content to deliver the service.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused periods and technical failures. For billing disputes, contact billing@truemerit.online.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUEMERIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE PRECEDING 3 MONTHS.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
